 Good morning guys! I´m very motivated because today we are doing an interesting project. I have come to help you to make a croquis of a landscape.

In the todays´s lesson your teacher explained what a croquis is, do you remember it?

A croquis is a drawing of an object, place or landscape made in a schematic way,  which is used to highlight and place in an orderly manner the parts and elements that compose it. The sketch is not made to scale like a map or a plan, they are only quick strokes made by hand that do not take into account the size or the exact location. 

This is a simple example that I have made:

Are you ready to do your croquis?

You must follow this steps:

1. Prepare tracing paper and crayons.

2. Place the tracing paper over the picture of your choice.

3. Delimit the different planes of the landscape that are separated with a line.

4. Paint each plane in a different color.

5. In one corner of the drawing, place a legend explaining what each of the colors means.

6. Give a title to the croquis you have drawn.
