DAY OF PEACE
Peace Day is celebrated to remind us how important it is to live in harmony, without fighting and violence. It is a special day when everyone in the world tries to be kind, respectful and good to each other.
Imagine you are playing in the park with your friends. For everyone to have fun and be happy, there needs to be peace. If you start fighting or being mean to each other, the game is ruined and no one will be happy. On the other hand, if everyone treats each other with kindness and respect, you can play and have fun together!
Remember that peace does not only mean the absence of fighting or war, but also having good feelings, such as love, friendship and solidarity towards others.
