Hello everybody! After the introductory session, we are going to start learning about the territorial organisation of our country.  

To do so, I have prepared a very interesting and complete video for you. Stay tuned, because together you will have to answer a series of questions.

Hello again, having seen the video, you now know more about the general organisation of our country. However, in today's session we are going to focus on municipalities and local councils and their functions.

To help you do the next activity, here is an image that summarises the different functions of the City Council:

Hi guys! I am really looking forward to being with you.

We have heard that you are already clear about the role of local councils, so we propose the following activity to do in class:

Imagine that you are all members of the plenary of your local council. In groups of 5 pupils, you should make a list of 5 rules that you think the children of the municipality should follow (e.g., taking care of and respecting street furniture, using litter bins and recycling or picking up after our pets).

After a while, each group should tell the rest of the class what their rules are and why they think they are important.

Finally, together we will decide which 10 rules will make up our town council.
