Hello guys! Today we celebrate Book Day in class.
We will start by talking a bit about whether you like reading, whether you think reading is important, what benefits it brings us, and so on.
Afterwards, anyone who wants to will volunteer to tell us about their favourite book. To tell us about it, you can use the following worksheet:
Finally, we are going to do the following activity called Story Swap: each student starts writing a story in 5 to 10 lines. Then each story is randomly distributed to another partner, who has to write the knot of the story in another 5 to 10 lines. Finally, the stories are swapped again for the students to write the ending.
Finally, all the stories are collected and read aloud and prizes are awarded for the most original, most dramatic, funniest, most terrifying, etc.
Since today in class we have been celebrating the book day, it is your turn to do this at home, but don't worry because it is very simple.
Today, we continue with our learning about Prehistoy. The day before
you learned about the Palaeolithic period.
For this, I have prepared a presentation that explains the most relevant aspects and characteristics of this period.
Finally, to review what you have learnt today I have prepared a game to play in teams.
Each team will have a set of cards with questions about this stage. You will
have to answer the questions and turn the card over to see if you have got it
right. Let's play!
