Hello again guys! Today we will continue learning about Roman life and cities.
To do this, after having read the book, we are going to play the following game that I have prepared for you to check that there is no doubt.
In the following activity, you should read these descriptions of the daily routine of two Romans and we are going to play a game which is called Patricians and Plebeians. Finally, you will have to answer some questions.
To play this game, we will divide the class into two groups: some will be patricians and others plebeians. Each group will read the card of the character they have been assigned and afterwards, the teacher will tell the class activities of daily life and you will have to discuss who can carry them out and who cannot. For example: going to school and having an education, making decisions on your own without depending on anyone else, etc.
QUESTIONS:
1. Did you like the lifestyle you got? Why?
2. What did you miss the most about not having or what would you like to have had from the other group?
3. Do you think it was fair? Why?
Hi guys! Don't worry, I come with good news: you already know that tomorrow we are going on an excursion to see and learn about the main monuments of our city, Corduba, in Roman times.
So I propose you the following activity: tomorrow you will have to find out where the main public buildings were located here (temple, theatre, amphitheatre, bridge, Triumphal Arch, baths, aqueduct, forum, etc.).
Enjoy and learn a lot tomorrow! Bye!
